1. Would you like to help the victims of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria? You can! Donations are currently being collected by the Turkish American Society of Northeastern Ohio. They are collecting food, clothing and emergency items. Due to weather conditions, there is reportedly a high need for winter wear coats, hats and gloves in all sizes, as well as, necessities like heaters, flashlights, generators and sleeping bags, canned foods and diapers, toothbrushes, menstrual products and other hygiene items. According to the Cleveland Scene, "The deadline for the first shipment is Friday, February 10 and Friday, February 17 for the second. Direct monetary donations can be made here.
