1. In an effort to help people understand the correlation between physical health and mental health, the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Lorain County is hosting its first Health and Wellness event on February 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Amy Levin Conference Center.
   The event will feature Seed Yoga, with a free yoga session, an opportunity to learn more about NAMI services and volunteer opportunities, a free raffle, refreshments and other activities with a Mardi Gras theme. For more information and to register call call 440-240-8477. (cleveland.com)
2. Looking ahead to the summer, register soon for the Avon Lake Theater Camp (formerly known as ALFA). Registration opens Wednesday, March 22 to residents and non-residents. This is a great program, with an amazing final performance on stage at the Avon Lake High School Performing Arts Center! 3. It's never too early to start thinking about summer employment. Get a job within the city’s parks and recreation department.
