  1. Greater Cincinnati's Manhattan Development Group hopes to take on a $60 million apartment project but faces challenges getting the Madisonville Community Council's approval. The project would feature 234 units in a four-story building on 4710 Madison Road. To address some of the concerns, the developer could reduce the number of apartments and have also mentioned that there is space for a restaurant and structured parking. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
  2. The Taft Museum will showcase "Memories and Inspiration: The Kerry and C. Betty Davis Collection of African American Art" through May 14. This unique exhibition features the private collection of a formal postal worker and TV news producer, who collected more than 300 works from world-renowned Black artists over the last 35 years. The museum will showcase 67 paintings, photographs, and more from its collection. Museum curator Tamara Muente said, "It's vital the public [sees] the collection." (WVXU)
  3. The aggravated menacing charge against Cincinnati Bengals' Joe Mixon has been dismissed. The prosecution said there must be further investigation before moving forward, but the case can be refiled in the future. Police have spoken with the victim, who intends to move forward should the case be refiled. The charges were dropped only one day after a warrant was granted. (WMUR)
