In partnership with Cincinnati Pride, we asked Library friends and staff members to share what Pride means to them, some of their favorite LGBTQIA+ reads, and the importance of being able to find them at the Library. The video collage below is a love letter to all of our LGBTQIA+ community members and staff. You are always welcome here.

While Cincinnati Pride's annual parade is rescheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2020, this weekend you can join Cincinnati Black Pride, the Human Rights Campaign, and Dance Fix for Come Outside for Pride! from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, June 27. You can also sign up for virtual parties all weekend long.

Whether your Pride looks more like a protest, a party, or both, we can all acknowledge the pain, celebrate the triumphs, fight for the future, and find joy in all the beautiful differences that make up who we are both this weekend and every day afterward.

Visit our blog post to learn all the other things the Library did this month to celebrate Pride and stay tuned for more events throughout the year.
