- A Wednesday morning car crash closed West North Bend Road in the College Hill neighborhood. A stolen Hyundai Elantra reportedly refused to stop for Greenhills police, and the ensuing chase ended when the driver crashed through a fence and came to a stop at a six-foot pillar. No additional information about the crash or the driver was available as of Wednesday evening. (FOX19)
- Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has taken the next steps toward obtaining funding to expand Amtrak and rail services between Cleveland and Cincinnati. The Ohio Rail Development Commission was instructed to apply for funding for the expansion. Gov. DeWine said, "The information we gather from this effort will help us make informed decisions about federal opportunities for passenger rail in Ohio." (WCPO 9 Cincinnati)
- Anthony Belton, the driver in a Jun. 24, 2022 crash on Pippin Road, was indicted by a Hamilton County grand jury on Tuesday. Belton was allegedly driving under the influence when he crossed the median and hit a car head-on with a woman and four children inside; the woman and children had minor injuries from the crash. Belton is charged with three counts of aggravated vehicular assault and OVI charges. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
