Great River Connections Academy Recognizes Cincinnati Student

Student of the Month Award recognizes achievements in and out of the virtual classroom

COLUMBUS, OH Trinity Fox of Cincinnati was recently selected to be among Great River Connections Academy’s (GRCA) “Eagle Students of the Month” in recognition of her outstanding achievements and leadership in the virtual classroom.

Trinity, a sixth grader at the statewide online public charter school, was nominated by her teacher, Mr. Studd, because of her hard work and her outstanding participation in class.

“Our students of the month demonstrate leadership and an extraordinary commitment to learning while serving as strong role models for their peers,” said Jason Swinehart, Principal at Great River Connections Academy. “The members of our faculty and staff are proud to give these virtual classroom leaders the recognition they deserve.”

Trinity enrolled in Great River Connections Academy at the beginning of this academic year because she believes she can better focus on her studies in a virtual classroom.

“I love Great River Connections Academy because it has enabled me to be more social and interactive with teachers and students,” Trinity said. “It also has made it easier to raise and maintain my grades.”

As a Student of the Month, Trinity will receive a certificate of achievement and be profiled in the Great River Connections Academy student newsletter and the school’s social media platforms.

Virtual school is a great fit for a variety of students and each student is unique.
