KeySource Appoints Ryan Sevek as Chief Executive Officer

KeySource, one of the nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of generic prescription medications, today announced that Ryan Sevek has been named Chief Executive Officer. The company also announced that longtime industry leader and former CEO Albert Paonessa has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors.

As CEO, Sevek will lead the company’s overall strategic vision, operational performance, and growth initiatives, while continuing to guide the finance, IT, and logistics divisions. The purchasing and sales teams will continue to report directly to Sevek, ensuring a unified and agile approach across all aspects of KeySource’s business.

Sevek joined KeySource in 2017 as Director of Finance, where he significantly enhanced the company’s financial processes and operational efficiency. He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2022 and named President in Fall 2024.

Prior to joining KeySource, Sevek served as Director of Business Analytics at Luxottica.

As Chairman, Paonessa will provide strategic counsel to executive leadership and the Board while continuing to represent the company in industry partnerships and policy discussions.
