Here are the top three stories in Cincinnati today:

  1. A Wyoming man is in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after being shot by two police officers. Joe Frasure, Jr. was shot on Monday night after police responded to a call of a possible burglary at an apartment complex. The family was cleaning out an apartment of a recently deceased relative when Frasure and his father ran away from police. Frasure got into the car to drive away and police say officers fired their weapons because Frasure attempted to hit them with his van. (WLWT Cincinnati)
  2. Kimberly Goddard, 62, who was missing from nearby Wyoming, has been found. According to the Cincinnati Police Department, Goddard was reported missing on Saturday after she went for a walk from the 200 block of Seymour Avenue around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. It is unclear where Goddard was found and what condition she was in. (FOX19)
  3. Feel-good story: An Ohio trooper rescued a cat off the side of a highway on Tuesday. Ohio State Highway Patrol, Toledo Post Tpr. Katie Thomas, and a good samaritan were able to safely capture the cat on I-475 in Lucas County. The cat was taken to the area humane society where he was fittingly named, "Trooper." (FOX19)
