MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (June 5, 2025) -- Pastor, father, community activist, and southside resident Scotty Robertson, 37, is running for Middletown City Council because, “Neighbors are suffering under status quo policies, and it’s time for Middletown to demand better.”

As the City navigates job losses, infrastructure needs, and communitywide debates, Robertson
is focused on fostering smart growth and real change for every neighborhood. “With local
voices
involved in decision-making, we’ll ensure that new developments first benefit residents.”

“From food security and public transportation to community centers and healthcare access - I
will work to bring together community leaders and business leaders to drive new investments
into overlooked neighborhoods,” said Robertson.

about what matters to you.” Robertson is currently on a listening tour across the City.

“From now through Election Day and beyond, I will be available to every neighborhood and
every neighbor interested in discussing the future of Middletown,” he continued. “I will build
unique and diverse coalitions
committed to creating lasting, positive change that reflects the
needs and aspirations of our citizens.” The campaign will host a launch event in August.
