Spectrum Awards More Than $20,000 to Several St. Louis Area Nonprofits
Grants help nonprofits with areas of urgent need
Spectrum today announced a donation of more than $20,000 to seven different St. Louis area organizations through the company’s national community philanthropic program, Spectrum Employee Community Grants.
Since its inception in 2019, Spectrum Employee Community Grants has provided more than $250,000 in funding to more than 45 St. Louis area nonprofits, where Spectrum employees are volunteering their time and talent.
Spectrum hosts a special recognition ceremony and check presentation with each of the nonprofits, the Spectrum employee volunteers and other leaders to commemorate the donations.

The latest St. Louis area Spectrum Employee Community Grant recipients are:
- Knights of Columbus Charities, $2,500 ($3,500 total) to provide an opportunity for children in need to have access to personal hygiene products, school supplies and food
- Hanani House, $1,000 ($3,500 total) to assist with a recovery program including housing, meals and workforce entry
- Paraquad - $1,000 ($2,000 total) to help service people with disabilities with resources so they can transition from youth to adult and ready them for independence
- Safe Connections - $1,000 (first time recipient) to help with crisis intervention programs
- Sikhs of STL - $5,000 ($12,500 total) to support weekly food distributions with personal hygiene and other items for the unhoused
- St. Francis Community Services - $7,500 ($28,500 total) to help children with a variety of needs including after school, legal and mental health services
- Zion Travelers Community Involvement Association, $2,500 ($21,000 total) for support of a community food pantry and other resources to those in need

Recipients deliver critical social services, helping underserved residents meet basic needs, including food, shelter, clothing, job training and neighborhood safety. Each awardee is nominated by one of the company’s more than 101,000 U.S. employees who has volunteered with the organization for at least one year.
