1 Killed, At Least 10 Shot At East Cleveland Bar: Reports

EAST CLEVELAND, OH — One person was killed early Sunday as at least 10 people were shot at a bar in East Cleveland, according to reports.

The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. outside the Just Us Lounge & Deli, WOIO reported.

Several people were taken to hospitals from scene at the bar on Euclid Avenue, Cleveland 19 News reported.

No information has been released on the person who died or about any of the injured, the reports said.

Residents were disheartened by the news of the shooting and spoke out to Fox 8.

Dawn Jones called the shooting tragic "because people came here with good intentions, having a good time and loving life and someone lost their life."

"People got hurt. It just shouldn’t happen," she added.

Both East Cleveland detectives and agents with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are trying to identify the shooter or shooters, as well as a motive, Fox 8 reported.
