Friday
Cleveland photographer Gabe Wasylko is hosting the first Capturing Cleveland Photography Charity Event at the Limelight at Electric Gardens in Tremont at 7 p.m. Everyone who attends will receive a free 8-by-10-inch signed Cleveland print, and 15 large-scale Cleveland-themed canvases will be auctioned off in support of more than 15 local charities. More details are available here.
The top students from Cleveland's School of Rock program, the Headliners, will perform a live concert in Public Square that promises to be full of creative covers that span the musical spectrum. The group is audition-based and consists of students 14 to 18 years old. The event is free, and more details can be found here.
Saturday
At the Pride Martian 5K, "The invasion has begun, and we are showing all our pride colors!" Not only does this a 5K support LGBTQ communities; it also starts and finishes directly in front of Platform Beer Co., which is throwing the after-party. Runners will receive a custom race shirt and a free beer, and many awards are on the table for best costume, best within a gender and top three best within age ranges. Prizes differ, so check all of the information on awards here. Dogs and strollers are welcome in the event, but they must start at the back. For more information and to register online, visit Platform Beer's full explanation here.
The Cle Market heads to North Royalton this weekend. The market will be on Royalton's City Green from 11 a. m to 3 p.m. for everyone to shop small business that hail from all over the Northeast Ohio area (and more, probably), have a delicious lunch from a food truck and enjoy free entertainment for the whole family. (The whole family includes Fido, too.) The market travels all around, so be sure to catch the vendors this weekend while they are close: You won't see them here for a month.
Unlike the other events on this list, fun is not applicable here, but this is still a large event in Cleveland this weekend, so it has a place on the list. Please do not confuse that for taking the event's meaning lightly. Saturday at noon on Cleveland City Hall steps, March for Our Lives Cleveland/Women's March Cleveland will host the March for Our Lives and to Save Roe. According to the Facebook event, the march and rally will "fight for reproductive rights, our lives, an end to gun and other violence, and the future of our children." To learn more or to sign up, visit the Facebook event and the mobilize event.
Sunday

Weekend
The Beck Center for the Arts will host its first Diversity Celebration, which ends Monday. The celebration includes a wide variety of events. The events are geared toward children and families, and many are free. Find the full list of events here.
"America's rocking roller coast, ride on." If you've heard that phrase too many times to count, this event is for you. If you missed it last weekend, this is the second and final weekend of the new experience Wild Frontier Nights. Sorry, kids, this is not a family experience. It is described as an "adults-only after-hours party" with a "dust storm full of activity, including hearty tastes from the chef's private recipe collection, hand-crafted cocktails you can't sip anywhere else, boot-scootin' live music, dancing, bull riding and fun event-only activities for adults." If that isn't enough, the event also includes private rides on some of the park's busiest attractions, including Steel Vengeance, Maverick, Skyhawk and more. Find all of the information here. There's an ax-throwing competition if you want to show off your frontier skills. Run, don't walk, to purchase tickets here before they sell out.

Walkabout Tremont takes over the heart of Tremont on the second Friday of every month. The event is part street festival, part art gallery showcase, part vendor market for handmade goods and even part nonprofit display. No matter which part is your favorite, it is all fun — not to mention the delicious food and drinks, of course.
