2 Arrests Made In Fatal Cleveland Stabbing: Police

Callers dialed 911 after noticing blood coming from under the garage door of a home on Lakewood Heights Boulevard, Cleveland police said.

CLEVELAND, OH — Cleveland police are investigating a stabbing that resulted in one man's death and two arrests so far.

According to police, on Sunday around 7 p.m., officers responded to 13901 Lakewood Heights Boulevard for a well check after callers noticed blood coming from under the garage door of a home.

On arrival, officers said they were able to access the home through an unlocked door and found the victim on the floor of the garage in a large amount of blood.

EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Preliminary information indicates that a passerby noticed some evidence of blood at the scene. At this time, police said they believe the victim was last seen alive on Dec. 24, 2021.

Charges have not yet been filed against the two people arrested, police said.

A motive for the fatal stabbing was not immediately known.
