22-Year-Old Shot To Death In Cleveland, Police Ask For Help

Police are asking the public for information on the killing of a 22-year-old.

CLEVELAND — A 22-year-old man was shot to death in Cleveland on Monday.

Investigators believe the 22-year-old was sitting in his car on E. 123rd Street when two men approached him. The duo pulled out guns and shot at the 22-year-old's car, police said.

The 22-year-old tried to drive away but crashed his car. When officers arrived, they discovered the 22-year-old had been shot multiple times in the chest.

EMS arrived and declared the 22-year-old dead, police said.

A person of interest has not yet been identified in this shooting, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 216-623-5464. Anonymous information can be provided by calling CrimeStoppers at 216-25-CRIME and a cash reward of up to $5,000 may be available.
