CLEVELAND — On Saturday, millions of Americans, including Northeast Ohioans, will host memorial events and observances to honor the victims and remember the legacy of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
Flags at all Ohio and U.S. public buildings and public grounds will be flown at half-staff through sunset on Saturday, per Gov. Mike DeWine's orders.
"Governor DeWine also asks that all Ohio citizens observe a moment of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m. tomorrow, which is the time that the hijacked American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001," DeWine's office said in a statement.
