Update: Fire at Parmatown Mall Has Been Extinguished
Clouds of black smoke can be seen billowing from Parmatown Mall.
UPDATE: The Shoppes at Parma were indeed on fire and the Parma Fire Department responded to a call around 11:20 a.m. Monday to put out the fire.
WOIO reports that the fire was started by a construction crew cutting material on the roof.
Brooklyn and Parma Heights Fire Departments assisted in extinguishing the fire.
