CLE's St. Patrick's Day Will Be Sunny, High Near 70: Forecast

The iconic Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade will make its long-awaited return downtown and it's bringing good weather with it.

CLEVELAND — For the first time in two years, Cleveland's St. Patrick's Day Parade will again bring people together downtown. And attendees are in for a treat because the weather could be beautiful Thursday.

Current forecasts predict Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high of nearly 70 degrees. With weather like that, it's easy to forget that there was snow on the ground last weekend.

Temperatures will drop overnight, into the mid-40s, forecasts said, but there's little chance of precipitation until Friday. Anyone staying up late celebrating will at least stay dry, though they may want to bring a coat for evening parties.
