  1. The Cleveland office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation is warning people of a telephone spoofing scam. Scammers are using technology to make their phone numbers appear as though they are calling from the Cleveland FBI. The callers address people by their full names, know their addresses, and falsely claim that the person is being arrested or charged with a crime. If you have received such a call, please contact authorities. (WJW FOX 8 News Cleveland)
  2. On Tuesday morning a pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run incident on Cleveland's east side. At about 8:30 a.m., a man was struck by an unknown vehicle near East 152nd Street and Waterloo Road. After hitting the pedestrian, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. The investigation into the incident is ongoing. (cleveland.com)
  3. A new restaurant for Cleveland's Little Italy neighborhood is being developed by a legendary restaurateur. Carl Quagliata, the man behind Giovanni's, one of Cleveland's longest-running and most well-known fine dining locations, is heading the venture. The chef at the new restaurant will be Zachary Ladner, who has been in the kitchen of Giovanni's for 13 years. The two men also operate Smokin' Qs, Paloma, The Village Butcher, and Salumeria.
