Cleveland Justice Center Employees Sent Home Early Due to Police Violence Protest March

A protest march outside the Cleveland Justice Center has the potential to disrupt court activities so court officials shut down at 3 p.m.

A gathering to protest police violence in front of the Cleveland Justice Center has prompted court officials to send employees home early on Monday.

Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court spokesman, Darren Toms told Cleveland.com that judges were ending proceedings early and employees were sent home at 3 p.m. Toms said that the expected march had the potential to be disruptive to court activities.

Essential functions in the building will be maintained.
