The National Weather Service calls for a possibility of snow and rain for Saturday and Sunday.
CLEVELAND, OH — After a windy Thursday, residents in the Cleveland area may want to keep the umbrellas and coats on standby. The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for possible rain and snow this weekend.
For Saturday, the forecast calls for a 100 percent chance of precipitation with a high near 44 degrees. Showers are possible mainly before 2 p.m.
Later that day, there is a chance of rain and snow showers in the area between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., the National Weather Service reports. The forecast that night calls for cloudy skies with a low around 31 degrees.

For Sunday, the forecast calls for chance of snow showers before 10 a.m., then a chance of both rain and snow showers.
According to the National Weather Service, residents can expect partly sunny skies with a high near 36 degrees during the day. At night, partly cloudy are in the forecast with a low around 27 degree.

The chance of precipitation is 30 percent Sunday with new snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
