Cleveland Museum of Art Celebrates 100 Years

CMA is having a birthday party and you're invited!

The Cleveland Museum of Art is 100 years old and is inviting the public to celebrate with them today.

The museum officially opened on June 6, 1916 and CMA kicked off the celebration on Monday with a members only party.

Today's celebration begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until 9 p.m. There will be special programs, tours, live music and free entry to the centennial exhibition "Pharaoh: King of Ancient Egypt" which will be closing this week.

Visitors will also be able to experience both the newly redesigned Studio Play, and the reinstalled Japanese and Korean galleries, open to all for the first time.
