Cleveland's Celebration of Cavs NBA Championship Was So Big, It Could Be Seen From Space

Last night, an image of Cleveland as seen from space was tweeted out by NASA astronaut, Terry W. Virts.

Former International Space Station commander, Terry W. Virts sent this tweet out last night showing a concentration of lights around Lake Erie along with the hashtags #nbafinals2016 #Cleveland #Lebron.

Yahoo Sports points out that astronaut Virts returned to Earth in June of 2015, so it's unlikely that this is a photo of last night's NBA title-winning Game Seven. Even so, last night's victory celebration was legendary.

Check out this more earthly photo of the crowd outside Quicken Loans Arena from WFNY:

The team returned to Cleveland Monday afternoon to a crowd of thousands waiting to greet them at the airport. Cavs team members exited the plane, waved and acknowledged the crowd and left the airport. No doubt they went home to get some well-deserved rest after defeating the Warriors and then celebrating in Las Vegas right after the game.
