Cleveland's Hard Rock Cafe Has Closed and the Giant Guitar is Gone
The Hard Rock Cafe in Tower City Center has closed and the giant guitar overlooking the Flats has played its swan song.

CLEVELAND, OH — It's official, the Hard Rock Cafe in Cleveland is now closed. To make sure there was no doubt, the giant iconic guitar overlooking the Flats has been removed also.
Hard Rock Cafe International, Inc. issued a statement in May announcing that the Hard Rock Cafe located in the Tower City Center will be shutting its doors for good sometime in July. The company said that the closing “marks a strategic decision on behalf of the brand to focus efforts in the market on Hard Rock Cafe at Northfield Park and Hard Rock Rocksino”
Hard Rock Cafe at Northfield Park and Hard Rock Rocksino which opened in 2013 are still open and employees of the Hard Rock at Tower City will be given priority consideration for open positions at that location.
