Data Breach at Noodles Affects Ohio Customer Credit, Debit Cards
Customer credit and debit card data reportedly stolen, customers advised to check their credit and debit accounts for suspicious activity.

OHIO — According to company officials, Noodles & Company says a recent data breach may have illegally accessed customer debit or credit cards between January 31, 2016 and June 2, 2016.
A report by KARE out of Minneapolis says that the breach includes 44 locations in Minnesota and 37 locations in Wisconsin. Hackers may have gotten cardholder information including name, card number, expiration date, and CVV.
“Noodles & Company takes the security of our guests’ information extremely seriously, and we apologize for the inconvenience this incident has caused our guests,” Kevin Reddy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Noodles & Company, stated.

KARE's report said that he The investigation into the “unusual activity” on the company’s credit card processor started May 17. The company says it immediately started working with experts to find out if the system had been compromised. On June 2, the company says it found “suspicious activity” that indicated a possible breach.
