🌱 Driver Involved In I-77 Explosion Charged + Veterans Day Deals

Here are the top three stories today in Cleveland:

  1. The driver of a dump truck who was involved in a crash and explosion on I-77 will face criminal charges. According to the Summit County Sheriff's office, 51-year-old Gregory Pree has been booked after months of investigation into the May 12 crash. Pree struck a 64-year-old Ohio Department of Transportation employee who was doing debris removal on the side of the road. The worker was injured in the ensuing chaos. Pree has been charged with aggravated vehicular assault, operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs, and driving without a valid license. (Cleveland 19 News)
  2. In honor of Veterans Day on Friday, many businesses in Cleveland are offering military members discounts and free meals. This list will let you know where retired and active military members can receive these benefits. A valid form of ID showing present or prior military service is required.   3. Although Cleveland has been enjoying a surprisingly warm fall so far, winter is right around the corner. Due to the last remnants of Tropical Storm Nicole coupled with an approaching arctic front from the west, Cleveland is in for some rough weather throughout the week and into the weekend.
