Cleveland Schools Educator Who Celebrated Capitol Insurrection Pleads Guilty

1) A former Cleveland schools pediatric therapist and educator who breached the Capitol on Jan. 6 and paraded through the Senate chamber pleaded guilty Tuesday to obstruction of an official proceeding. Christine Priola, 50, of Willoughby, will be sentenced in October.
- She resigned from her Cleveland schools job on Jan. 7 and was arrested on Jan. 14 after people recognized her in a news photograph from the Capitol and reported her to the FBI.
- In her resignation letter, Priola stated she was "switching paths to expose the global evil of human trafficking and pedophilia, including in our government and children’s services agencies."
- She could face 20 years in prison.

2) CNN weekend morning anchor Christi Paul, a University of Toledo graduate, will return to Northeast Ohio as a special reporter for 3News WKYC this fall. She worked for CNN for nine years. “WKYC is a station I grew up watching and tuned into every time I visited home,’’ Paul said. “Who knew it would become a full-circle moment now?"

4) Five Iron Golf is going to fill four Euclid Avenue storefronts in downtown Cleveland. Five Iron Golf is a New York-based chain of urban indoor golf simulators.
