You have to try their pierogies.

CLEVELAND, OH - Elements Bistro won the title 2016 People’s Choice after Downtown Cleveland Restaurant Week.

Guests who attended restaurant week voted online for their favorite spots and chose the quaint bistro on Euclid Avenue and the Cleveland State University campus as their top choice, the university announced.

Elements’ Sous Chef, Christina Poindexter, and her team served a multi-course lunch menu for just $15 during restaurant week.

"Popular Slavic Village-inspired Fleet Avenue Pierogies and the University’s exclusive Mitchell’s Homemade Viking Gold Ice Cream placed atop chocolate bread pudding drizzled with Maker’s Mark caramel sauce, were the stars of the menu. Spicy pasta, zesty stir fry, vegetarian-friendly foods and refreshing starter courses also wowed the crowd," the university wrote.

Local Cleveland TV Channel 19 even interviewed Chef Poindexter and filmed her making her famous pierogies, according to the announcement.
