  1. Eight Warrensville Developmental Center employees have been charged with patient abuse and evidence tampering. The facility fired five employees and three are on paid administrative leave. The center in Highland Hills is a state-run facility for adults with intellectual disabilities. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
  2. A man was arrested yesterday in connection with the killing of a 16-year-old boy. Darrion Malone, 19, was wanted by police for aggravated murder for the death of Jamil Tell Jr. Malone had barricaded himself in his home before he surrendered to U.S. Marshals. (cleveland.com)
  3. A $3.5 billion plan reconceptualizes what the Cuyahoga Riverfront in Downtown Cleveland could be. The 15- to 20-year project's goal is to transform the waterfront and Tower City Center and prioritize accessibility, equity, and sustainability. (News 5 Cleveland)
