Gunfire At Illegal Cleveland Bar: 30-Year-Old Killed

Police said a 30-year-old was killed while partying at an illegal bar on Kinsman Road.

CLEVELAND — A 30-year-old was shot and killed outside of an illegal bar on Kinsman Road on New Year's Day, Cleveland police announced.

At 4 a.m. on Jan. 1, police were called to a building on Kinsman for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, EMS was giving first aid to a 30-year-old who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Investigators believe there was a party inside the building when a fight broke out. Gunfire was exchanged and the 30-year-old was hit multiple times, police added.

A person of interest has not yet been identified but the investigation is ongoing.
