On Monday, September 29, a collection of 70 school leaders, healthcare benefits decision makers, and healthcare professionals gathered to participate in the 6th Annual Healthy Kids Golf Outing at NorthStar Golf Club in Sunbury, Ohio. Complete with exciting challenges, awesome raffle prizes, and more, Health Action Council’s outing helped to drive awareness and support for the health and well-being of children and communities, as well as promoting the highly successful Healthy Kids Initiative.

The event included almost 20 different teams, and the top three teams generously donated their $500 winnings to the following schools and career centers: Collins Career Center, Perry Local Schools, and Eastern Local School District.

“When you can promote children’s health, support local schools, and enjoy a great day on the course, it’s a win for everyone,” said Patty Starr, President & CEO of Health Action Council. “We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came to show support and compete; We’re especially proud of our winners, who showed their commitment to bettering local schools by donating their winnings.”
