Thunderstorms are likely to develop overnight, the National Weather Service said. The storms could bring heavy rainfall to a parched region and signal the gradual dropping of temperatures.
There's currently a 70-percent chance of storms forming between Sunday night and Monday morning. The shift in weather could produce choppy waters in Lake Erie, with the National Weather Service preemptively warning swimmers that venturing into the lake could be dangerous starting tonight.
