I-71, I-90, I-490 Lane Restrictions Go Into Effect Sunday

CLEVELAND — Parts of I-71, I-90 and I-490 will be restricted due to road work this weekend.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is replacing the Scranton Road bridge deck. A slate of new lane restrictions and brief closures will go into effect on Sunday and will continue through early March, the department said.

  • I-71, I-90 and I-490 under Scranton Road will have off-peak lane restrictions.
  • I-71, I-90 and I-490 under Scranton Road, between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m., will have short duration lane closures lasting approximately 15 minutes.

The bridge deck replacement project should be completed by June 2022, the Ohio Department of Transportation said.
