ICYMI: The Guy Steph Curry Hit With His Mouth Guard Speaks Out
"It just hit me and I was like, 'Who? What?' I was just cheering, being a fan," said Andrew Forbes
Steph Curry was ejected from Game Six in the NBA Finals after getting called for his sixth foul in the fourth quarter. Expressing his frustration, Curry pulled out his mouth guard and threw it — right into a fan.
Curry's mouth guard hit Andrew Forbes — the son of Cavs' minority owner Nate Forbes — court-side, and the Warriors superstar apologized.
"It just hit me and I was like, 'Who? What?' I was just cheering, being a fan," Forbes told CSNBayArea.com. "I don't even know where he was throwing it. It just hit me in the face. He was good about it."

After the game, Curry told CSNBayArea.com, "I usually aim at the scorer's table," he said. "I was off (with my) aim. I definitely didn't mean to throw it at a fan. But it happened. I went over and apologized to him because that's obviously not where I was trying to take my frustration out."
