'I'm Just in the Middle ... Pissed Off'

CLEVELAND, OH — I caught up with Elgie Trotter on West Superior Avenue as a platoon of California Highway Patrol officers marched past, rifles slung over their shoulders, brought to Cleveland to bolster security while the Republic National Convention is in town.
Trotter was selling T-shirts, but one of his tables offered a curious collection — Truckers for Trump.
The other was full of anti-Trump shirts — and one for those who just feel like they're caught in the middle. Trotter, who works in prison ministry, said he doesn't know if Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton will be better at creating jobs for African Americans in Cleveland. But he knows we need jobs.
