Ohio-based U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan recently admitted to speaking to President Donald Trump more than once during the Jan. 6 riot.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan spoke to President Donald Trump multiple times during the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, according to new reports.
Jordan, a Republican representing Ohio's 4th District, told Political he had more than one phone call with Trump during the insurrection. He said he could not remember how many times the two spoke during that day but insisted it was more than once.
The Capitol riot was sparked on Jan. 6 as the Congress moved to count the Electoral College votes from the November presidential election. Far-right supporters of Trump, who lost to President Joe Biden, stormed barricades and forced their way into the Capitol building, disrupting the process.
