Lake Effect Snow Warning: Snowfall Predictions For Northeast Ohio
Some areas could get as much as 12 inches of snow on Friday.

CLEVELAND — Portions of Northeast Ohio could get as much as 12 inches of snow during a winter storm on Friday.
Lake effect conditions will add 1 to 4 inches of snow to previous snowfall expectations, the National Weather Service said. Lake and Geauga counties are most likely to see the added snowfall, though eastern portions of Cuyahoga County could also be impacted.
"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute," the National Weather Service added. Drivers should plan on being the road longer during any trips.

The areas south of I-90 are most likely to get hammered by additional snow, forecasts said. Snowfall may not slow until 7 a.m. Saturday, the National Weather Service warned.
