LeBron's Bringing the Whole Team to the Ohio State-Michigan Game in Columbus

The entire Cavaliers team will watch the Buckeyes take on the Wolverines before heading to their next game in Phildelphia.

COLUMBUS, OH — The Ohio State/Michigan game is about as big as it gets on Saturday in Columbus. Number 3 Michigan travels to Columbus to take on number 2 Ohio State and the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers will be there for the game.

Cleveland.com reports that the idea may have been Tyronn Lue's.

"It's something I've been working on for like two weeks," Lue said Friday, before Cleveland hosted the Dallas Mavericks. Cleveland.com reported this was possible earlier in the day.
"Myself, Cobra (Cavs equipment manager/travel secretary Mark Cashman) and Griff (general manager David Griffin). Just thought it'd be nice for the guys. It's always good to throw your guys a bone through this long season, all the things we have to do and being together, I just thought it'd be something good for us to do and to enjoy."

It's well known that LeBron James is a huge Buckeye fan, he's often said that if he played college ball, he would have suited up for the Buckeyes. LeBron's influence at the game tomorrow will be felt by Ohio State players — in their feet.

LeBron has donated cleats which resemble his "Soldier 10" basketball shoe for Buckeye players to wear for the game on Saturday. LeBron's donation has created a game within the game pitting LeBron's cleats vs Michael Jordan's "Jumpman" jerseys that the Wolverines will be wearing for the matchup.

It's not just the players on the field that are getting LeBron's Soldier 10 sneakers — babies born at the OSU Wexner Medical Center are also receiving a complimentary pair.
