Here are the top three stories today in Cleveland:

  1. On Thursday, a Cleveland man was convicted on several counts for the beating death of a reverend's daughter in 2018. Jamal Kukla, 29, was charged with the murder of 31-year-old Jasmine Washington in 2020 – two years after her body was found hidden under the stairs of the Broadway Christian Church. The Cuyahoga County jury found Kukla guilty of two counts of murder, one count of felonious assault, one count of tampering with a corpse, and one count of gross abuse of a corpse.
