Two women who accused Deshaun Watson of performing unwelcome sexual acts during massages told journalist Soledad O'Brien they were dismayed when the Cleveland Browns gave the quarterback a record-breaking contract that will pay him $230 million. Their comments aired Tuesday night on HBO's Real Sports.

  • Ashley Solis said: “It’s just like a big screw you. That's what it feels like. That we don't care. He can run and throw, and that's what we care about.”
  • Kyla Hayes said: “I felt like he's being rewarded for bad behavior." She also described for Real Sports viewers what happened during their massage session: “He wanted me to kinda make a V motion in his pelvic area. So go across his stomach to his thighs, back to his stomach. ... I just kept massaging and did what he asked until his penis kept touching me repeatedly as I did it. He was moving his penis back and forth as my hands moved as well.”

Meanwhile, Fox 8 News in Cleveland received exclusive video of several Watson depositions and broadcast them on Tuesday.

  • Solis described in her deposition how Watson handled his personal pigskin during a massage which brought her to tears: "He grabbed it, pulled it from under the towel and put it on my hand. I immediately moved my hand and I started crying, I told him I'm ending the session because I'm uncomfortable."
  • Lauren Baxley said Watson did not utter threats to her after their session: "... his very presence as a naked man on my table was a threat to me, but he did not give any verbal threats." Watson's attorney pointed out that Baxley texted with Watson 19 times after her alleged indecent incident.

2) Starbucks workers in downtown Cleveland voted to unionize Tuesday on a 10-0 vote. Just an hour earlier, workers in a Columbus Starbucks also voted in a union.

  • Three more Cleveland stores have petitioned the National Labor Relations Board to hold union votes.
  • No votes were cast against the union.
  • Said barista Joseph Nappi: “I think we all hope that Starbucks negotiates in good faith.”

3) The Cleveland Museum of Art returned a piece of Poland's cultural history this month — an ornate hunting shotgun given to Polish Gen. Wincenty Krasiński by none other than Napoleon Bonaparte in the 19th century. The Polish general led troops during the Napoleonic wars.

  • The weapon, made by France's gunsmith to the royals, was richly engraved and decorated, and for much of its history was displayed in various private and public Krasiński collections in Poland.
  • During the devastation and looting of World War II, however, the weapon was stolen by Nazis after they destroyed a public museum.
  • The shotgun resurfaced in 1966 when Rear Admiral David Sinton Ingalls donated it to the Cleveland Museum of Art, which displayed the piece in its Armor Court.

4) An invasive pest native to China was spotted on West 117th Street in Cleveland last week, report Ohio State University researchers and the Department of Agriculture. Egg masses laid on plants hatch tiny bugs called nymphs, which grow up into the spotted lanternfly. The lanternfly is a threat to trees and other plants.

5) The Ohio State Building and Construction Trades Council, made up of 14 local member councils and more than 100,000 workers, endorsed U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate. The union group has a record of endorsing Republicans so the nod to Ryan was not a shoo-in.
