Michael's Restaurant and Bar to Host 26th Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner
Michael's Restaurant and Bar in Rocky River will be providing free turkey dinners on Thanksgiving day.

ROCKY RIVER, OH — After several years off, Michael's Restaurant and Bar in Rocky River will be once again, offering a free thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving day. Due to the economy and other factors, Michael's suspended the meal in 2009.
The demolition and the construction of the new Whole Foods grocery store also contributed to fewer tenants and less business at the mall where they're located.
Now, with construction at the mall complete, Whole Foods is helping out and will be supplying the turkeys for the Thanksgiving feast.

Michael's Restaurant and Bar owner, Michael Petrakis, told Cleveland Scene:
“I’m grateful to Whole Foods for helping me resume this Cleveland Thanksgiving Day tradition,” he says. “Everyone will receive ‘five-star service.’ Here, you don’t know if the breadwinner of the family at one table has just lost his job, or whether the couple at the next table has lost their home. We treat everyone as if they’re our best customer.”
For 26 years, Michael's has provided hundreds of free turkey dinners with all of the trimmings on Thanksgiving Day. The unemployed, the needy, senior citizens, and those who simply don't have anyone else to share the day with will be treated like VIPs.
