- The Ohio House passed a new law to legalize test strips for identifying fentanyl in illicit drugs. The policy increases access to the strips to decrease the record-level of overdoses in Ohio in the last year. (Subscription: cleveland.com)
- Yesterday's windy conditions left thousands without power. FirstEnergy reported about 7,000 without power in Northeast Ohio – with no word on when power will return. (WKYC.com)
- Cleveland City Council members advanced legislation providing paid leave to city employees who experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
