Paraplegic Man Dies In Christmas Eve House Fire In Cleveland

A dog was also found in the home, according to Cleveland police.

CLEVELAND, OH — A paraplegic man died following a house fire in Cleveland on Christmas Eve.

According to the Cleveland Police Department, around 4:27 p.m., officers responded to 10310 Thrush Avenue to assist firefighters on scene.

As firefighters extinguished flames from a house at that address, they found a 48-year-old man dead inside the home, a police report revealed. They also discovered a dog.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known. Members of Cleveland Division of Fire Arson are currently investigating.
