Arrest made in murder of Maple Heights in Cleveland (cleveland19.com) — Cleveland police have arrested a 20-year-old suspect in the April 2025 shooting death of a Maple Heights man in the city’s Kinsman neighborhood. The victim was shot while in a car near E. 106th Street and Elliot Avenue and later died at University Hospitals, and records show the suspect previously faced multiple felony cases in Cuyahoga County.
   

2. Ex-OSU star Marshon Lattimore arrested on weapons charge outside Cleveland (tribtoday.com) — An NFL player with deep Cleveland roots was arrested in nearby Lakewood after police say he failed to disclose a firearm during a traffic stop. The cornerback, a Glenville High and Ohio State standout, previously faced a weapons case stemming from a 2021 Cleveland arrest. He was released without bond as the Commanders and league review the situation.

Drunk driving woman has difficulty following officer's instructions: Beachwood police blotter (cleveland.com) — Beachwood police recently handled several serious incidents, including a suspected drunk driver coming from a Cleveland Heights bar and another OVI arrest involving a Cleveland woman. Officers also investigated thefts from a driveway, a Giant Eagle shoplifting case, and a stolen Toyota Corolla spotted on nearby roads.
