Rain, Snow Before Spring Temperatures Arrive: OH Weather
A brief blast of frigid cold and possible snow will give way to spring temperatures this weekend.
OHIO — Get ready for more seesawing temperatures. Rain and snow could make an unwelcome return to northern Ohio on Wednesday night, before a taste of spring arrives over the weekend.
Current forecasts show a 50-percent chance of snow between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. While there's little chance of significant accumulation, the arrival of precipitation will signal a shift in temperatures.
After several days with highs in the 40s, conditions will turn frigid after Wednesday night. The overnight low will in the low 20s or upper teens, while Thursday's projected high is 29 degrees, the National Weather Service said.
