Retailer DTLR Hosts Youth Basketball Clinic in Cleveland

Local children attended a basketball clinic with former Cleveland Cavaliers player Dahntay Jones

On Saturday, Feb. 19, DTLR, one of the country’s most successful lifestyle retailers with more than 240 stores in 19 states, participated in All-Star Weekend by hosting a youth basketball clinic in Cleveland with NBA champion Dahntay Jones. The clinic was held at John Adams High School, where Jones ran drills with 75 local children. The clinic also included giveaways, music and more.

“All-Star Weekend is an eventful and exciting weekend, and this year, we wanted to focus our time and energy on giving back to local community members in need,” commented Community Outreach Director at DTLR, Tremayne Lipscomb, Sr. “Community is a part of our corporate DNA and we hope to establish local partnerships that have a lasting impact on those in need in Cleveland.”

DTLR takes pride in its role in fashion, music and culture, and gives back to the communities it serves through several other programs. To learn more about DTLR’s community outreach, follow them on Instagram at @Daretoliveright.
