Revolution is Sexy: Political Performance Artist With NE Ohio Roots Spreads the Message at the RNC and DNC

Marni Halasa describes herself in her Twitter bio as "Political Performance Artist/Activist: Prof Figure Skater, Parade Personality, Media Liaison, Journalist, Lawyer. I protest w/skates & wings! #revolutionissexy."

Patch caught up with her in Cleveland's Public Square as she was protesting Donald Trump. Her company is called "Revolution is Sexy" and its task is to "create a big splash and spread the message in a very creative, theatrical way."

Halasa is a Bath, Ohio native and says she trained for years at Winterhurst Ice Arena in Lakewood before she became a professional figure skater. She also told Patch that her father, a chemist by trade was a well-known Cleveland Browns radio personality known as "Doctor Dawg."

Marni Halasa is already in the middle of things in Philadelphia at the Democratic National Convention.
