Slim Chance Of Snow To End The Week In Northeast Ohio: Forecast

Temperatures will fall into the teens by Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.

CLEVELAND — Frigid temperatures and a dusting of snow could await Northeast Ohioans at the end of this week.

Current forecasts show a chance of snow on Wednesday and Thursday night. Little accumulation is expected on Wednesday, and less than 1 inch should fall between Thursday night and Friday morning, the National Weather Service said.

There is currently a 50-percent chance of snow on Thursday night, forecasts said.

However, temperatures could fall precipitously as the week becomes the weekend. Temperatures should hover in the 40s and 30s on Wednesday and Thursday but could plummet into the teens on Friday. Temperatures could remain low on Saturday, with a current projected high of 22 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

  • Thursday — A 50-percent chance of snow overnight, though little accumulation is expected. Temperatures will fall steeply throughout the day into the night. Expected high of 38, low of 22.
  • Friday — A 20-percent chance of snow in the morning then mostly cloudy throughout the day. A projected high of 29 and an overnight low of 14.
  • Saturday — Mostly cloudy with a high of 21 and a low of 13.
  • Sunday — Mostly sunny with a high of 33 and a low of 23.
