Snow, Rain Likely Throughout The Weekend: Northern Ohio Forecast

Get your winter jackets and umbrellas ready, it's going to be a chilly, wet weekend.

CLEVELAND — Snow is expected to fall over the weekend in northern Ohio.

After a week of unseasonably warm temperatures, which climbed into the upper 60s, conditions will turn much chillier on Friday night. The overnight low is expected to be in the mid-30s, with rain showers likely to become snow as we head into early Saturday.

Temperatures will remain in the low 40s and upper 30s with chances for additional snow on Saturday and Sunday.

Precipitation is likely to fall throughout the weekend, with rain during the day and snow overnight. Less than 0.5 inches will fall most evenings, according to the National Weather Service.

Here's a weekend forecast from the National Weather Service:

Friday — High of 52, low of 34 degrees. There is a 60-percent chance of precipitation overnight, though there's little chance of snow accumulating.

Saturday — High of 40, low of 33 degrees. There is a 40-percent chance of showers during the day and a 60-percent chance of snow overnight. Less than 0.5 inches of snow should accumulate in most areas.

Sunday — High of 41, low of 34 degrees. Snow is likely before 8 a.m. during the day, though rain showers could continue past noon. There is a 70-percent chance of rain and snow showers overnight. Less than 0.5 inches of snow should accumulate.
