St. Patrick's Day Forecast: Sunny And Warm In Ohio
Don't worry. This weekend's snow won't be on the ground for long, as temperatures rise and St. Patrick's celebrations begin.

OHIO — St. Patrick's Day should be unusually sunny and warm in Ohio, according to current forecasts.
After a weekend of snow and frigid temperatures, this work week will see quickly rising temperatures and a dash of showers as spring-like conditions roll into the Buckeye State. Temperatures will start in the mid-50s on Monday and Tuesday before climbing into the upper 60s in the middle of the week, the National Weather Service predicted.
Northern Ohio's mid-March weather could be particularly idyllic as a long revered holiday tradition makes its return to Cleveland.

St. Patrick's Day Parade
As COVID-19 cases continue to plummet around Ohio, many iconic events will be attempting returns to in-person festivities this year — including Cleveland's St. Patrick's Day Parade. Northern Ohio's largest city is home to a massive St. Patrick's celebration. In previous years, the event included 10,000 participants and drew far bigger crowds into downtown Cleveland.
With the event scheduled for a big return on Thursday, residents and visitors planning on attending the event can expect a mostly sunny day with a high of approximately 68 degrees. Temperatures could drop into the upper 40s overnight, and there's a slight chance of showers overnight, according to forecasts.

This will be the first year the parade has been held since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The St. Patrick's Day festivities were canceled in both 2020 and 2021.
