SWAT Incident In Cleveland: 1 Dead, 1 Wounded
Police said they're investigating a possible murder-suicide on Cleveland's east side.
CLEVELAND — Police are investigating a possible murder-suicide on Cleveland's east side on Wednesday morning, a department spokesperson announced.
At 5 a.m., a man called 911 and told dispatchers he had shot his wife inside a home on E. 90th Street, the spokesperson said. When police arrived, an older man and two children exited the home and safely crossed over to police. None of the three were hurt, according to police
Members of the Cleveland SWAT team then surrounded the home and were able to get inside. A woman was found shot within the house. She was later declared dead, police said.

A wounded man was also found inside the home. He had a gunshot wound, police said, and was taken to University Hospitals by EMS. No one else was found inside the home.
Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit were called to the house. The investigation into the Wednesday morning incident is ongoing.
